The National Art Honor Society (NAHS) is an organization committed to promoting the visual arts at Hightower High School. Members of the group must either be currently enrolled or have taken one semester of an art or art history class on the high school level. As a part of NAHS, they are tasked with hanging student artwork in the school and also participating in money-making activities such as designing HHS spirit jewelry and t-shirts. Primarily, the focus of the NAHS is to provide a venue for talented student artists to showcase their artwork and to receive positive feedback from their peers. Seniors in good standing with the club are allowed to “walk” wearing the red, royal blue, and goldenrod (the primary colors) cords of the NAHS on graduation day.
